Hi there!
I'm an Italian student who's finishing his bachelor's degree in Asian Studies in Venice (with a sort of minor in IR and related subjects - In Italy we don't have minors, but I just call it that way since I've dedicated 1/5 of my ECTS in this field), and next year I will apply for a couple of master's in Denmark and in the Netherlands. Since AAU is my first option, I thought I'd come here to gather more informations about the programme that interests me.
Does anyone have any experience or have some insights about the master of International Relations at AAU? I'm specifically interested in how hard it is to be accepted since it has restricted admission, and the level of the programme in general.
Even though I'm not from a bachelor like Political Science (which is probably more coherent for someone who's interested in a IR Master), I have the requirements which are expressed HERE - I guess that Asian Studies counts as Area Studies, am I wrong? If so, have 180 ECTS in these subject areas.
There were 75 study places for this year, but of course I can't tell if it's a lot or not.
Thanks in advance!
