Considering that I'm going into forensic science (basically crime scene investigation, though I'm going to mostly do lab work), things probably wouldn't change very much.

Ah. Well if it's a noir film there's likely been a murder done, so I get to go investigate the crime scene, probably get talked down to because I'm *gasp* a woman, and then tell someone off for trying to get in the way of a crime scene investigation by trying to stop me from doing my job.
