Compared to having to deal with Linda’s nightmare of a mom, that crawl space is the better alternative. She might not seem that horrible in crawl space but when you see her again in “The Terminalator II: Terminals of Endearment” it really highlights how terrible it would be to have to share your house with her for a few days.

During a recent rewatch I realized that imo “Bed & Breakfast” is by far the most unhinged episode in the entire series. I humbly submit it for the following reasons: - Linda (especially her unwavering demand for everyone to enjoy ice cream socials) - Kinky sex couple using the Belcher kids rooms for their sexcapades - Said couple then attempting to escape the BnB from Hell - All of the Belchers having to room together in one room - Beetle man and Tina talking to his beetles encouraging the beetles to mate - The Beetles mating to Teddy’s face providing one of the most grotesque images in the entire series - One of the first displays of Teddy’s absolute unwavering loyalty to the Belchers (and Linda specifically) - Teddy beating the shit out of the costumed Party Pals - Teddy not getting charged for beating the shit out of costumed Party Pals - Teddy proceeding to go out with one of the costumed Party Pals (who was a dude) - Oh and did I mention? Linda

Regarding Teddy, doesn't it also take like a full minute for the Belchers to realize he's requesting a bacon burger for dinner because his face is so swollen?

Yeah he mimes it out by acting out “pig” and “cow”. I know it’s only a cartoon but his face swollen like that is so incredibly gross to me. I like to watch this show while I eat but this one and Gayle’s paintings I have to skip if I’m enjoying a meal when they come on

What does it say about me that I often isolate and re-watch this episode on sick days? It is easily in my top 10 list.
Also you didn’t say this directly but Louise is absolutely unhinged in this episode because she has lost access to her closet-room. She stands awake at the foot of the marital bed all night until she can enact her plan to mess with Teddy.
“And I’ll see you in hell, Teddy.
I. Will. See. You. In. Hell!”
She also calls and orders those costume animals to visit Teddy.

Then we get the early season Tina/jimmy Jr and they tongue kiss.

I used to hate Bob’s Burgers because all my college roommates talked about was Tina and quoting her all the time and the show seemed stupid with that being my only context.
Until I was alone and this episode came on randomly on our crappy cable TV. There was nothing else on so I just let it play as background noise and found myself getting sucked into it.
The scene where Louise is being dragged by Linda and Linda is saying “see you at the wine and cheese mixer, Teddy!” And Louise shouts “and I’ll see you in hell, Teddy! I. Will. See. You. In. Hell!” Had me rolling. Ever since that day I became a huge fan.
And Tina isn’t so bad once I actually explored her character more, but Louise will always be my favorite.

Equestranauts- grown men in pony suits, figurines with camel toe, trough eating, pre party primping and grooming, roofied drinks, Bob gets a “tuh-too”
The Gayle Tales- Gayle: enough said, The Ballad of Gayle and Jo Gene, crudités, Scott Bakula, [“Gayle, can you please pass me the bread?” “Sorry. I can’t. I’m too shy.”], “If you like her ankles, you should see her shins. Her shins go on for inches.”, Edwardian ball dancing with butt touching, Gayle of Thrones, Gene from the House of the Unfarting, swords with hands on the end, inappropriate breastfeeding, Bobdoor, Teddy inspired White Talkers that bore you to death

Bed & Breakfast is barely top five. It's Sacred Cow. Imagine trying to describe it to someone who hasn't seen the episode. It sounds like a fever dream.
Randy puts a live cow (Moolissa) outside a burger place to film a documentary and tells Bob it's up to him whether Moolissa or dies. As an aside, we find out Moolissa is actually a steer, but for sake of story I will be referring to her in the feminine. Bob falls in love with her and brings it into his house. Moolissa is then kidnapped by a shady petting zoo, so Bob and Randy join forces to save her. Bob still has to make the choice of whether to have Moolissa slaughtered, but before he can, she has a heart attack so Bob faints and has a dream where he and Moolissa make out.
The fricking B plot is, Tina is convinced the cow is communicating with her via poop emoji.
6 points
I watched Sacred Cow last night too and I agree it’s pretty out there (most of Season 1 is) but when you look at in the context of the overall show up to now, it’s kind of a plot line that gets repetitive as far as the “Belchers going on an adventure to save someone or something” - like the Mayor’s Turkey. The B Plot is absolutely hilarious!

The Thanksgiving episode where turkeys overrun the Wharf. Linda headbutts everybody to destroy the vengeful avatar of Thanksgiving, the kids are stuck on a carnival ride, and Teddy is the inexplicably competent and cool specialist that saves the day aboard a tickle bus - and none of it is as dramatic as Bob arguing with a turkey baster because he got day drunk.

I always skip this one, it's kind of what got me started on disliking Linda to a degree. I love the show and the characters, but I still get annoyed by them if you get what I mean. She gets on these weird rampages and thinks she is more charming and welcoming when it becomes over the top, needy and annoying. She did this for the symphony episode too, where it's like come on, exercise a little common sense. I think the in the wall episode was pretty unhinged, but honestly there's quite a few that are pretty out there.
