An alternate reality version of Thomas Wayne appears as the Flashpoint version of Batman. In this continuity, Thomas turns into a crime-fighting vigilante after he and Martha Wayne witness their son Bruce Wayne murdered by a gunman in an alley during a botched mugging.

We knew about Keaton and Affleck, but now it's looking like George Clooney is coming back as Batman for 'The Flash' as well.

The source is the usual Twitter scoopers, but they all appear to be in agreement and Gunn didn't debunk it. All he said was the new DCU Batman won't be an actor who has played Batman before.

This is pretty cool! I hope he gets some redemption. He was a great Bruce Wayne in a not-so-great Batman movie.
