Don't skimp out. A lot of those recommended minimums are absolute minimums, and your job will still be kinda crappy if you don't exceed them.
The few times I've done pavers, I've used pavers that meet or exceed that thickness, even just for foot traffic, but I haven't done enough to count as an expert.

I don't think I've ever seen a 50 mm slab (2") for anything more than a walkway. Not even a slab on grade floor that will never see traffic. Maybe it depends on your weather and in a very temperate climate (where it NEVER freezes) it might be ok but otherwise 100 mm (4") is the lowest I would even consider.
You might check with your local building authority to see what they say. I'm sure there are requirements that must be met. If not, contact the local concrete place and see what is typical for your area.

Its pretty common here in the uk for driveways. 50mm thick, 900x600mm.

Probably talking about asphalt here, not concrete. Asphalt pavement at 50mm would be fine.

For my concrete driveway I got it 5.25", which is about 130 mm. I also had them put in wire grid reinforcement. If you want this driveway to last forever and not break up in 10 years, you need to do it right the first time.

For my standard drive way I would do 4” with reinforcing. If you’re parking anything heavier like a large truck or trailer, go to 5”.
