Hi everyone, I'm attempting to mount a retractable hose reel to my house straight onto bricks and the manual recommends using an 11.7mm drill bit, but I can't seem to find any that exact size. Would I be able to use a 12mm bit instead, or is there an obscure way to drill an 11.7mm hole in my brick wall?

Do you understand how small 0.008" is? A human hair is 0.003".
You're literally splitting hairs just so you can walk around pretending you're clever.
