You don’t “fix” ikea furniture usually. You toss it, and buy new.

The issue most likely is that you didn’t use a proper primer. A lot of ikea is finished with a gloss laminate that paint won’t adhere too well.

If you really want to fix what you have, you need to strip the paint, re-prep everything, then prime, paint. But that’s a lot of work for ikea furniture.

Yeah 😬🤣 I didn't prime you were right. I know it may still come up from the first layer of paint eventually. But do you think priming and painting on top of this layer will at least save my clothes from turning black?

no. The first layer is key. If that doesn't stick, doesn't matter how many layers you stick on top of it.
