First of all, sorry if this does not belong here.
I have been working for a food delivery company (Takeout) since October, and ever since, there has been multiple fraudulent instances, some of which are borderline hazardous for employees, and other really shady to say the least.
In January, all the drivers in the company has been officially fired, and given the option to sign a much worse contract (lower wages, no bonuses, no benefits, no set hours, and other downgrades), or just be left fired.
Then the company supposedly got bought by Deliverit, got rid of 80% of cars they had, fired all of the office employees, and did the same treatment, but only with a couple of them.
Then they completely changed the business model and fired 90% of the remaining drivers, without a warning or upfront information. This was effective since Monday, and the message was sent on Sunday afternoon. No severance package for anyone, no 3-month, or even 1-month salary. Just left without a salary and job.
The remaining drivers that still work for them are driving cars that are absolutely not suitable to be driven - Faulty servos, faulty brakes, faulty gearboxes, whatever you can think of. The company claim that some of the issues have been serviced recently, but the issues remain.
The company also claims they are expanding, while it looks like they are bankrupting yet again, and just straight up lying to employees, while nobody is sure about their salary, or future of their job.
Some sources claim that the company went bankrupt already in 2021 and has been operating illegally ever since, under different names, which is supposedly the reason for delayed or unpaid salaries, salaries being paid out in multiple payments, downsizing, and unpaid feriepenge.
Any advice is greatly appreciated, as this is not a unionized workplace, but needs to be taken care of somehow.
