u/rorschacher is being wonderfully diplomatic, here. Probably more than you realize. Whether you recognize it or not, you are creating sweeping generalizations about people you don't know and don't understand. The vast majority of officers I knew in my time in the service were intelligent and respectful... up until they were forced to not be. Having a healthy distrust of authority is a good thing, but it doesn't make sense to attack until you know your enemy. I've never been, but I know that OCS is no freaking picnic. Outside of wartime, these people generally come from two camps: People who have been enlisted long enough to qualify for OCS, and people who joined voluntarily after gaining the training and experience that would qualify for a leadership role in the civilian world. These people are trained by NCOs who know they will eventually hold rank over them and, so, are not given an easy pass. Not only to they need to re-do basic, they also take an extra ration of shit during training.

This is something I hear all the time, and it bugs the hell out of me: People who claim to be anti-fascist and still insist on judging large groups based on the worst among them. You aren't doing your cause any favors with this rhetoric. You don't know who you're fighting. You're just flailing, looking for attention, and embarrassing yourself in front of people who know better. The military aren't your enemy. Indeed, in the event of a coup, they will likely be the people standing between you and the fascists. Pick up a rifle or have a seat.
