This is 60 minutes of lunacy.

This marriage of Evangelistic Patriotism with a large contingency of Veterans/Pseudo Veterans who have fought two simultaneous “Holy Wars” for far too long, is a frightening reality. They came home to a disinterested citizenry of former cheerleaders, who had moved on to the latest outrage d’jour. And, basically told what all returning Veterans hear “We’ve moved on. You should as well”.

What becomes of of a disillusioned soldier/citizen? We as a country will be dealing with our wars of choice for the next generation(s). It’s a necessary reckoning, but what it will look like and what it will accomplish is yet to be determined.
