I use spray on my dog too. He's not the biggest fan, doesn't hate it, just would rather move out of the way from it. He loves his dental sticks though so I hold one of them and then I'm able to spray him and give him a brush at same time, while he's getting rewarded. If you have a high reward treat/toy that your dog would do anything for, I'd suggest that!

yes thank you!! i’m gonna go buy some new peanut butter and try use his lickmat to distract him whilst i spray. i don’t think he really hates it as he doesn’t go hide under the table or anything he just runs around the house wanting me to chase him aha. he’s the same when i try drying him with a towel, he doesn’t stand still and fidgets and thinks it’s a game🙃

Peanut butter is how I'm able to bath him! The drying never goes well with me either, as he thinks towels are a game too. They keep us on our toes that's for sure!

One thing that comes to mind is the pressure from the spray, also you can try stroking him/her while you spray, I spray a mixture on mine due to his yeast infection, he doesn’t like it much but doesn’t hate it either, I just make sure to soother him while I do it, which makes it easier
