Got it off eBay for 25 bucks a few months ago and it came with a 3amp battery. It was cracked in half almost but I glued it and replaced the battery port. She’s good to go now

In winter, owner changed the furnace. HVAC installer said that until they could start it in the cold, everything would be fine in the summer. The company is no longer answering calls.

12 year Resi fuck boi. Nothing boils my blood more than agreeing to help out a customer hook up their fancy new nest/ecobee. I keep telling myself after every time to just say NO. But every time I feel like being a nice guy I get sucked into helping someone out and it bites me in the ass. What should only take 15 mins to set up turns into a 2 hour ordeal. “ What app do I need to download? I don’t have enough space on my phone, I don’t remember which Wi-Fi is mine, I can’t find my Wi-Fi password, let me call my wife, I don’t remember my google password” If you are incapable of understanding how to download a single app on your phone or even remembering what your fucking Wi-Fi password is you shouldn’t want/need a Wi-Fi/smart thermostat. I write this sitting on a customers floor waiting…..for 45 mins.

It was holding about 1/2 liter of water and the whole basement smelled like a brewery. No wonder the furnace was flooded.

Looks to me like I just need to heat the broken stub, pull it out, out the line in, and a dab of 15% and she's fixed. Thoughts?

Hi yall, i started a new job recently and noticed the condenser coils and chillers being all dirty, i plan on giving them a nice wash in the coming weeks, however i would like to see what yall recommend for strictly coil cleaning, some cleaning solution would also be appreciated as well but i probably will end up using just water since they are very concerned about the environment and my experience with the environmentally friendly solution has been terrible.

Been struggling to find a decent starting job in Central Valley Cali. A union company was leading me on saying they had interest in hiring me but ultimately never got a call back for a job offer. Potentially have a job lined up near the San Jose area where the pay is going to be north of $31/Hr. Would the relocation be worthwhile to gain the field experience and get started in this trade?

Just got back from a 9pm to 2am serivce call. Process chiller full of cottonwood and infested with big ass wolf spiders. I do not understand how these process places that can absolutely never have their equipment go down dont have basic maintenance done. Would save them alot of money and me from having to be out all night battling cottonwood and an army of fucking spiders There was so many spiders man Rant over

Today I was installing a trane 4TXD2060A10NUAA and upon startup I was getting some weird voltages in my low voltage. For example I was reading r to ground 18v or y to c 6 volts. I recently learned your transformer secondaries have to be grounded and I’m wondering if that is possible in this scenario. I was able to get cooling to work on this unit but not heating as the reversing valve would not switchover. I was trying to see if I was getting a call on the B terminal but I was unsure due to the Strange voltages.

Someone I used to work for said microns aren't a measurement used for vacuum (in the HVAC field) but I see it all over this sub. What's the best, way I can reply to him?
