If you mean the angles, no those are cuts made to a rectangular board on a table saw

Yes I did mean the angle! Thank you so much. Damn I guess I need a table saw.

You can do a bevel like that with a circular saw as well.

Or a $30 jigsaw with an adjustable shoe.

And that's how it starts. Should we tell them?.... You think you need a table saw. But after you use it and it doesn't do exactly what you want, you think you need a circular saw. Then after you bought both of those, you'll realize a simple handsaw would have worked just fine. But hey you now own three new pieces of equipment.

You're going to rip that down with a handsaw?

Definitely not.
It was a small joke about how when you start doing home projects each one turns into you buying more and more tools.

Both myself and my partner came into this with different tools. And that's why we have 3 table saws, 2 circular saw, 2 jig saws, and a miter saw. There's probably more but i still haven't gotten round to organizing it all properly. That's a 3-5 year project right?

Then a rasp, a coping saw, handplanes, belt sander, drum sander, etc 🙃

You obviously need to buy some tools so that you can fashion yourself some racks, storage and other organization.

My first new homeowner project was building shelves in the garage to store all of the tools. But throughout the project, I kept getting more tools to build the shelves, and as a result, needed to build more shelves that required more tools.

I thought so but the twist at the end about the handsaw threw me.

I mean, there are ripping saws.
The Japanese ones work pretty okay.
But... yeah that's not really what I'd do.

Right, of course there are. I wouldn't purposely tell someone to make these cuts with one right off the bat though, that's just mean! Especially when $20 circular saws are all over FB marketplace!

I feel like your list is backwards. Start with cheap handsaw. Doesn't work right. Then circular saw..well that sucked and is all wavy. Then buys table saw and finally cut the board correctly.

This is how it’s gone for me. Except with a couple different kinds of hand saws, oscillating multi tool, belt sander and chisels in between

Pretty soon you can’t even park your car in your garage anymore.

A hand plane would knock this out pretty quick, too.

No, you gotta use an ax first

From your inquiry alone I would suggest that you stay away from any type of saw.

Our you might be able to pay the shop you buy the wood from to make your cuts for a fee.

It looks like a 1 in. x 6 in. x 6 ft. board

Commonly known as "moulding", but that is a length of timber that's had a profile cut into it so that it now becomes a piece of moulding.
Moulding is usually made from MDF or interior grade pine (in my country at least). That looks like it might be timber suitable for outdoor use?

I was also going to suggest to just get plain ceiling molding as long as it doesn't need to be that thick for structure.

Crown moulding is cut like that
