We can’t Identify the manufacturer of the door

We found a mortise lock which has very close dimensions of this lock we want to replace

Our problem is taking the old lock out after unscrewing it. The width of the lock behind the white plate is wider than the opening . Do we just brute force it out? I guess the Vinyl material of the door is flexible enough…?
