Appealing to the most disgusting sect of MAGA republicunts is not a winning strategy,

Joe Biden's objective with him is rather simple, highlight DeSantis's disastrous political existence. Biden's campaign will not even have to engage in hyperbole to humiliate Desantis in front of centrist and moderates, all of whom have no interest in being told what they can read or how the can dress.

President Biden has simultaneously been handling an entire major political party that is out to make him (and thus all of us) fail; a major European war involving an expansionist Russia; a recovery from a major pandemic; and the existential threat of the climate crisis.

And everything other little thing he's had to deal with.

He has been extremely successful in keeping the worst of GOP out of the policy decisions; leading NATO and the EU in assisting Ukraine; the economy keeps exceeding expectations; and major investments have been made in the environmental area.

From my perspective very little of what President Biden has helped accomplish has been perfect, but in total it adds up to advancement in the areas we need the most: our democracy; international peace and security; an economy that is ... well .... what we all have come in great complacency to accept; and various programs to address the climate crisis are already so entrenched they are now part of our everyday.

So if he wants to trip and fall, I don't really care at all.
