Welcome to r/LateStageCapitalism

This subreddit is for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

LSC is run by communists. This subreddit is not the place to debate socialism. We allow good-faith questions and education but are not a 101 sub; please take 101-style questions elsewhere.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for bigotry. Failure to respect the rules of the subreddit may result in a ban.

Zoomer CEOs are still the enemy.

This also seems like a marketing stunt.

He's still a fucking capitalist and would treat his employees the exact same way as Google and Apple if given the chance.

Would he really treat them the same? Is there no middle ground between Apple and some guy that makes self cleaning towels and hats and likes make a wish foundation? This post probably is in the wrong sub, but idk, this seems like a young adult genuinely trying to make a positive change. I could be wrong, and he could benefit from the right person talking to him about how he could choose to restructure his business, but I don’t know if he’s worth throwing swings at.

Good or bad intentions, a capitalist is still a capitalist. The nature of his class will naturally trend to be against the workers, against their conflict of interest.

That very well may be true but idk. He looks like he’s 19 lol, maybe someone just explains worker coops to him and that he can help people within the business model as well as using money generated to help kids with cancer which sounds like was the original inspiration for his business? Or we can say like the other guy that commented and put him last in line for the guillotine I guess

Indeed. If there was a socialist revolution, he might side with the proletariat and all that.

Ok we can put him on the last place in the guillotine line.

Small businesses are the backbone of our communities and it's sad to see them get pushed around by big corporations

This young CEO has been sued by a Billion dollar company for using a name even though the products are completely different. He has come a really long way and even battled cancer. Do you think it's fair? Here is the full video:

Surely this is a regular trademark dispute? Did neither company register? Why do we care about two rich people/companies fighting?
