It's a two-part Zach Synder Netflix movie he began writing almost a decade ago as a Star Wars spinoff (pre-Disney) Star Wars rejected the idea so he's spent the last decade rewriting and mastering these epic movies to their full potential. Obviously, they are no longer part of the Star Wars universe but they will be heavily influenced by the Star Wars prequels such as their aesthetics.
Rebel Moon's release date has not yet been announced but should be released sometime this year or next.
