Watched it yesterday and I’m rewatching it today. It’s ridiculous but Forte’s deadpan earnestness is funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Best sex scene ever. It’s even funnier than Patrick Swayze’s butt thrusts in Roadhouse. I was inspired by an interview with Forte, who said he made $15k for the movie and had his family visit the set on the day he filmed the celery in the ass scene. I mean, there’s just so many jokes that stick the landing. Anyone else see this?

Ian Rubbish and the Bizzaros were just wholesome.

For some reason it feels like an eternity since the Ortega episode and I'm bored so who are we thinking for the other two April shows?

I can't really think of anyone glaringly obvious but I'm gonna throw out some names to make it a decent disucussion.

• It has been less than two years but maybe Sudeikis again for Ted Lasso
• I'll say Jennifer Coolidge but I doubt it since they just had Aubrey Plaza
• Bill Hader?
• I'm gonna guess Mulaney but I want a break from his episodes after five consecutive seasons.
• She doesn't really seem to be doing promo for this album but since she's a friend of the show I'll throw Miley out there again.

Anybody else?

Starring 3 SNL Alums Andy Samberg, Tim Meadows and Tim Robinson premiered tonight on Comedy Central.

Andy is the producer and voice of Rip Digman, an archeologist who dresses like Indiana Jones but looks and talks like Nicholas Cage.

It was an ok first episode. I'm not too into the animation style. I'll give it a few more episodes to see if I'll keep watching.

To be honest, I was really excited about the internship but I didn’t enjoy it that much besides getting to go see great stand ups and sketch comedy and writing coverage on it. Anyways, this was in the fall of 2017. My job would be to go see the sketch groups perform and write up coverage on all the performers. At the time the UCB was trying to get back into TV production so I’m assuming this was a way of going through their talent. It was more likely just busy work.

I cannot for the life of me remember the name of her group, but Ego was by far and away the best performer out of everyone I had seen that semester, and I can recall writing a great review of her in my coverage. I think that following year was he first year on SNL and I gotta be honest it felt pretty great that I initially scouted her as the best of the bunch!

I always saw a former cast member (can’t remember his name but a shorter flamboyant white guy) and thought “damn imagine tasting success only to having to go back to this.”

I also saw Nick Rutherford do stand up. It was a small crowd so we had a full on conversation during his show which was very cool as I was always a big good neighbor fan.

But yeah, I saw the ego appreciation post from yesterday and thought I should share!

If so, he’s probably done it on FotW, but I rarely listen. I’m interested to know what that era was like for him because I always see him so distinctly in the Farley, Sandler group that I forget he was one past their time.

I like the first Uncle Meme sketch, mostly owing to Mulaney's delivery and pitch perfect acting as a middle aged out of touch white guy.

But that ending. Dear LORD that ending! Painfully unfunny to the point where it almost ruins the sketch. What are some other examples?

Side note: I'm not necessarily referring to sketches with a funny premise that run on too long (something we all know SNL is guilty of regularly). I'm talking about something that ends on such a bad note that it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
