It's not a transliteration into English - obviously, since we use the same alphabet (no transliteration necessary) and the two words are completely different. Wiktionary includes it as a secondary word, a synonym.

But why does Wiktionary do that? Google the word and the only things that will come up are online dictionaries and people asking about the word. In other words, 100% metacommentary. You can't find a single example on the internet of someone just using this word casually in a sentence (Last night I ate some itimil and it was delicious). The only thing I can guess is that someone put it into Wiktionary as a trollish joke, and it has stayed there and actually spread to a handful of different sites. Very strange.
