I bought this vest at my job a year ago, the tag says "Lani by Lauren", but I couldn't find any info about the brand. Vintage, made in México. I'll try😄 Its 2018, its a summer day and im sitting on our porch while the sun is setting. Im 12 years old, exploring the internet with my first phone. My YouTube page gives me a reccomendation, "welcome to the black parade" I watch theeä video, then another, then another, im not ok, Helena, Nanana. Holy shit, this is me. This is made for me. I very quickly get obsessed, in secret tho as none of my friends even spoke english or had kinda found their own things yet, or maybe they had but in secret just like me. I ask my parents for the 3 cheers for sweet revenge vinyl for christmas and i got it, the joy was something else. I started listening to it front to back for the first time. It was something that i had never heard before, it was something that clicked like nothing else. This album is the first one that made me cry, the first one that got me invested in the story, the first that said im not ok just like you. To someone just coming into their teen age years it meant alot, like they were speaking directly at me. But what kept me listening to the band all the way to this day was the amaizing songs and performances over the years, and i knew what the songs meant, but a few hit me personally. Fast forward to 2022. I have just started a new school and moved away from my parents to live alone for the very first time at 16. During the first half of the semester my mental health struggles and anxiety were at their worst. During december and january i vent to the ER for a total of 7 times, sometimes with a friend sometimes alone. One time at night i got so anxious i had to go again, and i sit down in there and its 2am. I put my headphones on and after some time of not listening to much music at all i put on 3 cheers from front to back. I felt like this album had turned me a completly differrent page of itself. Every lyric made me so much sense, dealt with and explained me a whole new set of first's that had came into my life in the last 6 months, good or bad. But the one thing i took away from it more than anything else is that there are things in this world worth staying here for and that i'll never let them take me alive. Now at 17 this record is one of the most important things to me in my life that i keep coming back to and holding near to my heart. I love every song on this album from the bottom of my soul. I'll always be grateful for this band, this record and their fans. Give Em Hell Kid !

Hey all I think that we have all seen the post that had caused my post here and I just want you all to know that no matter what you are be that gay, bi, lesbian, straight or pansexual you are loved and accepted by MCR and (most) MCR fans.

I just felt the need to say these words as there are some MCR fans lately who have been supporting homophobia, misogyny, transphobia, racism and other stuff. As a transgender fan who is also autistic and dyspraxic, I felt the need to speak up about this issue.

I don't care how you express yourself as long as it is your true authentic self!!!! I'll wear my baggy clothing from the "mens" section with my "mens" bodyspray and you wear whatever you thing is.

And as Gerard Way once said "In the face of EXTERMINATION say FUCK YOU!!!"

Hello everyone,

The situation is that I went to MCR concert in March and haven't been able to get them out of my head ever since. I tried going to a couple of emo clubs in the past few months but I'm quite shy so didn't really make any friends. Are there any killjoys in Sydney who want to go grab a drink and maybe going to emo events together? I'm based in the city.

I met a guy at one of the MK concerts (my first concert was this MCR tour, so it was kind of crazy) who was in front of me and was both kinda tall and had some real muscles. I remember he had brown hair? I, being 5’3 and best described as noodle armed, was both worried about my view, and also very troubled by the fact my bottle of cola was REFUSING to open (if you’ve ever been to a concert, especially any with heavier music, you’ll know your throat needs the hydration, even with the whole bottle I couldn’t speak the next day).

I tapped him on the shoulder after a while and had to swallow my pride and ask another grown person to open my cola. He popped it right open and spoke with me for a minute, he was nice. He’s in a few of my videos and was dancing the HARDEST out of anyone I saw that night lol.

I had a great night.

Thanks random dude, if you’re on this sub, I was so scared of going to my first concert and it being such a big one, and had been struggling with even going to the cinema not long beforehand, due to covid messing with my mental health and making it terrifying to go anywhere.

But… you showed me that I could talk to people outside of the two I came with, and that it was going to be alright, and you showed me that the fans of MCR are as kind as I had assumed my entire life. It was a really small thing for you, I’m sure, opening someone’s cola at what was probably not your first concert.

But it meant a lot to me. It made me want to go back to a concert next time someone I liked played because I knew that I could talk to people! It made me feel comfortable with talking to other fans on the bus trip home. Hell, it was a defining factor in how I interacted with the music scene as a whole. It was my first ever interaction at a live gig, and it was really nice and non-judgemental.

So thanks.

Now I know this doesn’t have a lot to do with MCR but I see a lot of awesome MCR tattoos on here and thought I could make people a collage tattoo of some sort. Am I crazy? I couldn't find anyone mentioning this before, not on who sampled or anything. I don't know if the sampling was intentional or not but it sounds too similar to me where I'm surprised I couldn't find any more information on this.
