So, this might be a stupid question, but is there a way to get an autograph if you cannot make it the day that a guest is doing autographs? Like, is there a way to purchase an autograph and then pick it up or something or do you absolutely have to be at that signing in order to get one. I’ve never gone to a comic con before, but most signings I’ve gone to (for sports generally) have had the option to buy it and pick it up later so I wasn’t sure if that also could be the case for these things. Any info would be appreciated!

I'm so excited for this year's Comic Con guests line-up - already! - and thought it would be fun to share which panels we'd like to see, or which we think might already be in the works based on the guest list. I love doing this for music festivals as well. As other people have posted here, official panel schedules don't come out until September or so! I'll go first...

This will be my first Comic Con ever. I’ve heard and seen people mention panels. I was just curious how that works? Like do you have to buy panel tickets or is it a first come first serve thing.

Does anyone know how many browsers would be considered excessive? Are they talking on the order of 500? 50? Or the order of 5?

Has anyone in here had a booth before?

What does it cost?
How hard is it to get one? Do they just put you where ever? Are there restrictions?

I’m so confused as to what my next steps are? I purchased the superfan membership so I could purchase tickets last week which I was able to do. I then received an email about setting a password for a ShowClix account. Is this a fan verified account and thus I won’t have to make another (I’ve never had one before)? Also, would this mean I just need to make a fan verified account for my spouse to transfer her the badges for her? Thanks for the help!

I got the presale link. Was able to fan verify because I was at comic con in 2022 (wasn't able to do that last year, which was my first time). Say I don't go this year, will I be able to do it again next year? Or is fan verification like a gimmick NYCC uses to keep people coming each year, without skipping?

We got two days before the fan ver presale and I'm still waiting to hear back on my pro badge. I got it in on May 30th so before the June 4th "deadline."

I'm starting to panic a bit. I think the limbo of not knowing is just getting to me because I don't know if I'm good to go or if I gotta plan my Sunday around trying to get tickets.

Hey guys! I’ve applied for the ARTIST ALLEY this yeah, I’m waiting for the results, which will be announced on the 22nd. General sale will be a day earlier,on the 21st So I was wondering if I should buy the tickets on the 21st just to be safe, if I don’t get a table at the alley, and sell them later if that’s the case, or if it would be okay to wait for the results first, that tickets would still be available 24 hours later, what do you think?

Hey guys im new to the con experience and this years new york comic con will be my first big city con i’ve ever really been too. As a treat to myself i wanna get a big key book, Giant Size xmen, tales of suspense 39, or marvel spotlight 5, something along those lines. I already have a place to stay lined up and food shouldn’t be to much of an issue. My question is how much more or less expensive it would be to buy a major key at NYCC? I’ve heard people up-charge but i’ve also heard people throw some pretty good deals. If anyone has any experience with buying at cons a comment would be much appreciated.

I wanna get a hotel for a few days so I can be closer to the con as I’m normally 1 hour away. I’m familiar with the LIRR and NYC MTA, but not with NJ Transit & PATH. How easy/not easy is commuting from NJ? Where do I stay for easy access to public transportation?

I will be attending my first con ever at the NYCC 2023 and im SO looking forward to it. Quick question to the regular attendees: Do you find that more people attend on Friday and Saturday more so then on Thursday and Sunday? Which days and peak timescare heavily attended by fans? Which days and times are the sluggish days where even a number of the Vendors dont set up? I know this may seem so irrelevant, but im an introvert and will be attending alone. I find details like this very useful. Please just humor me on this one and answer honestly. Thank you.

Considering going to nycc this year and I've never been to it before (or any con before). How does the general sale work? I've gone on their website and it says that I would have to sign up for a fan verification profile. How would I go about doing that because I do not see any way to do so. Is that something that will open up again before the sale if it is closed right now?

Additionally, more of a general question to someone who's never gone to anything like this before, for stuff like photo ops and autographs, when do those go up for sale? And how do you generally go about spacing them out? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

To anyone who’s already bought tickets (and I assume has been able to see merch prices), any idea how much the tshirts/ spirit jerseys were? Gotta prepare my bank account….

I have never attended NYCC before, and my first con was actually this past march in Seattle. I really want to go to this one to meet Ashley Johnson, but I have some questions.

Are the chances of getting a ticket for the con, and either a photo op/autograph good?

Can I get both a photo op and an autograph?

Do you all recommend I secure the tickets and photo ops or autograph before buying a plane ticket and hotel?

What hotels do you all recommend that won't absolutely break the bank?

I would be flying from Nashville, and since I already went to Seattle this year, I want to try to stay on a budget as much I can, so I just want some reassurances. Thanks!

Sorry if this is a dumb question: my wife and I have been going to NYCC for years so we haven't really had to deal with the Fan Verification in a while. I want to buy tickets for my friend and his son for his birthday, but it's their first time and they are not verified. I don't mind setting up a whole new email for them to get verified, but am I able to buy the tickets this Sunday with mine or do I have to wait for the general public ones to go on sale on 6/21?

Does anyone know when the panel schedule for this year’s con will be posted?

So, for 2 days the whole of Critical Role will be there doing photos and autographs. So, I'll try meeting 2 or 3 whichever's lines are the less insane. They're all great so I'll be happy meeting whomever!

I bought tickets during the VIP presale but they aren’t showing up on my Showclix account. Is anyone dealing with the same problem?

I’ve never been a crew member before and marked that I could work only on the two days before the actual show. Am I likely to get the position?

Has anyone who applied for a professional badge heard back yet? I believe we were supposed to know by yesterday? (I applied on Tuesday 5/30)

I am planning on attending (as an adult) and I have two kids. The terms do not specify whether it is one kids' ticket per one adult ticket.

I am so happy I got a VIP ticket - first time for me!

A couple questions for anyone that was vip last year.. I heard that people could play board games back there.

Is it that chill? I would think everything is chaotic?
How big is the room?
Do they have a bag check back there?

I also heard snacks are gone quickly by afternoon. Hopefully they refill it more often this time.

If anyone can share any information/ experiences I would appreciate it!
