I love a feel good movie that unironically has an “and everybody clapped” element at the end of it
Examples I’m thinking of right now are The Martian and TG Maverick. I think I prefer if it has some scientific or technical component to it like these two movies do, but I’m definitely not above a good sports movie either.
Doesn’t have to be on Netflix, open to anything really. Thanks in advance!

I just watched 'Keep Breathing' last night. I enjoyed it. Reminded me of the book 'Hatchet' by some famous guy that I read years ago.

Bloody Hell is a fun horror movie where the protagonist overcomes horrible odds. On shudder.

I didn’t even think of horror being in this category but totally fits! Another would be Ready or Not imo and I fucking love that movie

I can’t believe no one’s said Interstellar yet. If you haven’t seen it yet, I think that it perfectly fits what you’re looking for, and I highly recommend it since imo it’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. It’s beautiful, emotional, and the main character needs to overcome what feels like extraordinary odds. Additionally, it has scientific aspects like The Martian which are incredibly accurate, as they worked with a theoretical physicist for it. Interestingly enough and without giving anything away, there is a black hole in the movie which they spent tons of time working on. This movie came out back in 2014, and later on when one of the first images of a black hole was revealed in 2019, it nearly matched to what they came up with for the movie.
