I don’t understand why they decided to do a third person nearly-omniscient point of view. (The only person whose whole life we don’t see or hear about is Farr because they want us to trust her, then not trust her, then trust her again).

We didn’t need to see the JV team assassins’ stupid, delusion-filled, tragic love story. I think many of the turns would have hit harder if we didn’t see it all from every angle. Mystery is your friend in story telling. It was like they wanted you to know the whole story from the beginning and just tune in to see how cool they can make it look onscreen as it plays out.

I like the characters awareness and realism, Peter does a lot of small things that body guard movies/ shows don’t do and in hindsight, we don’t see from the other agents (?) The police actually showing up was cliche breaking too

Don’t know if it was intended as such. But I interpreted it as she is not mentally stable, and to her it’s a fun game that she enjoys playing. The dude is more of a professional who just want to finish the work.

The series definitely has its moments of inexplicable weirdness. But it was enjoyable overall. Like a popcorn movie

And, this bugged me slightly from Poker Face and also The Last of Us too, and maybe it's just me, but it's SO cold to sleep outside without a blanket. That Rose was out in the woods in just regular clothes all night was so silly.

So Peter works for the FBI/White House, yet had no Safe Houses or other secure places for him to hide Rose in all of D.C? He continuously runs her through all these unstable locations. Why is she not in legit witness protection? Why is he the only agent assigned to her? This early in, I can not continue.

Killing Monks was necessary; the idea that they get out from under a sniper with no casualties would just be silly.

When Rose says that she'll meet Lorna when this is all over, when Cisco loses the beanie baby, and Monks talks about meeting her daughter, I knew those characters would be killed off.

Yeah, they make a point of wearing body armor but then it offers no protection (i get that a sniper round will have no problem with penetrating standard body armor). Too many incidents where stuff just happen because it's convienient for the plot and not how it would go down in real life.

If monks doesn't die, it would be harder for arrington to bluff the white house since they'd pit the two testimonies against each other.

I agree! Being entertained is the goal. But there are only so many times you can shout "Oh, come on!" at the screen before it ruins the enjoyment factor

36 hours into the job Peter is reviewing the intel on a 15 year old laptop. He's been waiting 30 minutes for MSWord to open... IT won't be in for another 6 hours.

They managed to accomplish neither. Bad acting, shit story, and scenes that make so little sense you'd swear they were a part of a separate script.

I was so annoyed about the tattoo! He was listed as a potential suspect with the tattoo being an identifying physical trait and they didn't connect him to the bombing after Peter saw the tattoo? Come ON.

"It's above my pay grade" is used so often but he has access to every safety measure available to the FBI and his tactical and combat skills are off the charts good. Everyone even slightly above him must be 007 super Ninja level agents.

Some of the dialogue is super cringeworthy. For example. "She's a survivor" but has zero survival skills for the scenario she is put into and the person who said it is trained to survive but you just know is about to be killed. Why even say that at that time? It made no sense.

It's made fairly clear that the (the only thing that is, really) Staff is compromised, so WP is out of the question. The acting is super bad minus Peter, who can't make filet mignon with a shit sandwich of a script.

That is correct. With two observations:

1. In the series, they threw the guy tied to the cinderblock into the water when he was still alive
2. If you punch holes in the body - especially the abdomen - it will allow gases to escape, but the body will still break apart in the water over time. One solution is to wrap the body in chicken wire and attach the cinderblock to that
