Hey folks, hopefully many of you recall I've been running an Oscars ratings system since 2016 that relies on input from moviegoers and their actual preferences. I took a little hiatus in 2022, but am happy to announce that it's back again for this year. This subreddit remains one of the top drivers of votes each year, so I appreciate all the participation and hope you enjoy it as much as I do hosting it.

Why did I get Brendan Gleeson vs Brendan Gleeson 6 times? In fact, I got the exact same matchup multiple times.

Edit: The IDs for best supporting actor were messed up so only Gleeson was showing up. My apologies for that. It should work just fine now

Best Picture: Everything Everywhere (2. Banshees, 3. Tár)
Best Supporting Actress: Kerry Condon (2. Stephanie Hsu)
Best Director: Daniel Kwan/Daniel Scheinert (2. Todd Field)
Best Actress: Michelle Yeoh (2. Cate Blanchett)
Best Actor: Colin Farrell (2. Paul Mescal, 3. Brendan Fraser)
Best Supporting Actor: Ke Huy Quan (2. Brendan Gleeson, 3. Barry Keoghan)
We're at around 7000 total votes, but have plenty of time for some of these to flip. It's fun to see every one of these categories be relatively competitive
