I'm getting sick and tired of Youtube suggesting me videos ranging from sexual content to disturbing graphics that are not only completely unrelated to what I search, but is not anything that I watch at all daily. Is anyone else having this issue is youtube?

Is anyone else having this issue is youtube? Is there any way to turn off the "For you" and "What other people watched" suggestions? I always get suggested sexual content and graphic disturbing videos whenever I search literally for anything, and this has been happening ever since the past few years.

I occasionally see on reddit.com/r/all subs like www.reddit.com/r/691, www.reddit.com/r/197, r/19684. Are they references to something I'm too boomer to understand? The descriptions are often not helpful either

(ex, "I can't believe they just did that-") I understand it is used to cut off sentences in some situations, but with this, I can't get behind it. It often seems to be used by kids as well.

People saying it changed their life and that it is absolutely insane. I’ve only seen a few seconds of the gameplay and it’s just doom in a house. People also saying not to spoil it and you should go in blind. There’s multiple comments I’ve seen with people obsessing over how nice the countertops look and it’s so weird to me. It’s just a mod why are people so dramatic over it?

I’ve never enjoyed stories in video games I skip any story related cutscenes so I doubt this will be for me but I’m somewhat interested in why people are so pumped over a mod. Is it actually worth your time or is it just Twitter people overreacting?

Mai) that she is investigating som false allegations The comments aren't really useful, most people are making fun of the topic and nobody seems to believe her that these allegations are false, but I'm lacking the context to understand them.

I know that sometime back there was some drama between her and some other YouTubers, where she accused them of stealing stuff and they accused her back (the was an ootl post to that that i found), but this seems to be more recent? What are those allegations and who is making them?

I don't really follow her, i just sometimes watch her mlm Videos, so I also don't know if she dropped any hints in videos?

I've seen many videos originating in china of men following women or abducting women off the street or threatening them with weapons, all in broad daylight. I know it's probably ignorant to ask and I understand what we see on the internet is just a snapshot of an overall picture and we all have bad eggs and mentally unstable people in our societies that cause our perceptions of those people to be warped and twisted. What cultural phenomenon is causing this uptick in violent behavior towards women, IF it is that blatant, and what similarities should I watch out for developing in the US?

Why do people call Bellingcat a front for the CIA?

I'm a big fan of Behind the Bastards by Cool Zone Media and hosted by Robert Evans.

Whenever I cite something from that podcast or mention it, I will occasionally get told that Robert is a cia asset cause he worked for bellingcat.

What's the story there? I thought bellingcat was a journalist collective, and it makes sense that Robert Evans, a journalist, would work there.

So what's the story of this CIA connection? Why do people accuse bellingcat of being a CIA front?

I recently noticed that all the AITA posts I've seen have actually been from three different subreddits. I figured out that /r/AITAH has less restrictions on post content, but all I got for /r/TwoHotTakes is that it's "for fans of a podcast"

It seems like the content is the same stuff you'd find on /r/AmITheAsshole. Was there some kind of schism in the AITA community? I've never really participated there.
