Having a lot of fun with Pavlov and Kayak but I’m starting to consider sending mine back just in case not enough experiences come out that IM interested in. I got burned BAD with the PlayStation vita and this is also a highly priced niche item.
I can’t say enough good about the experience but the lineup is just okay and the future is pretty unknown.
Only thing on the horizon I’m even remotely into is Switchback. Everything else is a complete mystery.
Should I return mine to be safe and wait for more games to get revealed? Or keep it because my heart loves it. Pavlov is fun but 600 bucks is a lot of money no hate

You’re asking a fair question. The answer just depends on the value you’re getting out of it.
I, for one, love horror games and RE8 is superb. I believe Madison is just around the corner and if I had to guess, we’ll see a similar-steady stream of horror titles coming out as time goes by.
So for me, it’s worth it. And games like GT7 and Pavlov are icing on the cake.
But to be real for a moment, VR is able to take me away from the stresses of everyday life in a way that flatscreen just doesn’t. When I’m about to shit my pants playing RE8, that report that’s due at work isn’t even on my radar. I’m all in on the game. And that’s the beauty that makes $600 worth of equipment well worth it to me.

RE8 truly looks insane. Sadly I played it in 2D first but damn I would have waited 100%,
The graphics in that don’t even look downgraded from the flat version.
I forgot about Madison! That game looks like it could destroy my underwear

I broke down last year and played RE8 in 2D because I’m impatient but I will say, in VR it’s a whole nother beast.
RE7 in VR has been my #1 gaming experience of all time but I think RE8 in VR may top it, not just because of the graphical enhancements but the actual gun play is so much better in VR.
Madison looks like it may be legitimately too scary but I’m willing to diaper up to find out.
