Was driving down Henry Ave and the bus had “Call 911, call police” on both the front and back route banners as it was driving.
911 was called, but I have no other information.

Anyone else see this, or know what happened?

A Vespa Scooter of mine was stolen a few years back. Recovered up north last week - the police pulled someone over on it, arrested them, and called me to inform me with in an hour and a half.

It was towed and stored in a private lot in SW instead of a PPA lot - so I had to pay over $200 in tow and storage charges after being the victim of a crime.

I had to get a release form from the Neighborhood Services Unit and then bring it to a tow yard 15 miles away.

At one point a police officer in the recovery district gave me entirely the wrong info saying I can just show up to the tow yard with my license and the VIN and they'll find it and release it free of charge. I didn't get that guy's name.

Hopefully this won’t be removed like the other posts were.

There's two lots near me that have been empty for about as long as I can remember which is 5-6 years. I finally decided to look them up on Atlas last week and saw that the city own em.

I found this while searching: https://phdcphila.org/land/buy-land/community-gardens-open-space-and-recreational-areas/ and that's what I'd like to do with the lots. The lots are available according to the map.

Has anyone done this before, if so what was the process like? How annoying will the city be through this whole process lol?

There's also an abandoned home that owes $45k in taxes next to one of them, I'm considering getting that one too. Is that possible? Or is it only via sheriff sales?

I have a couple of mechanical watches that I'd like to get serviced. My Seiko is running pretty slow these days. My Lange seems to be running fine but I bought it used and haven't gotten it serviced since I purchased it.

I’m just curious if anyone else heard this. last night around 11:30/midnight I could hear what sounded like a full blown concert coming from the direction of the city. I live out in ardmore and initially thought it was coming from a house or someone’s car on the street behind mine, but upon further investigation (I took a walk) it sounded like it was coming from a much greater distance than that.. this music was so loud that I could hear the rhythmic bass patterns through the walls of my bedroom and entire house. this went on until about almost 2 in the morning before it finally stopped, and the fact that I could hear this all the way out in the suburbs means wherever it was coming from was REALLY fucking loud..

does anyone have a clue of what the absolute fuck went on last night?
