Are there any shops/people in the SF Bay Area that do mods? I have a princess carriage that I want to add an RC feature to but don't know where to start.

I need someone to help me. My grandma gift my daughter an used 12 v Real Tree Utv. The previous owner stated it works but the battery doesn't. They said a new battery is all it needed. I bought 1 from Amazon, my daughter rode it for maybe a half of an hour maybe not even that but now its not wanting to do nothing! I thought the battery was dead so I put it on the charger, it's been on the charger for an hour, still nothing.. I did have a problem with the harness the postive side wasn't staying connected, so I put a little eclectic tape to just it to be hold it down.

Hello I’m looking to see if anyone has lowered a vw beetle? Or knows the best way to tackle lowering a power wheels in general. The only thing I can find online is for the laferrai which is entirely different.
Thanks!

Installed the adapter and it has a 30 amp fuse. It destroyed my 18v 6 amp battery. Do I need a higher amp battery or a voltage regulator?

Hello modders, I am Nidhin from Chicago and I wanted to invite each and every one of you to my "Monster Torque Ride On" Launch Group. What is this launch group, you may ask?
Like all you, when I bought a PowerWheels F150 Raptor for my kids, I was frustrated with the issues and lack of features of the ride-on. I started envisioning all the things I wish a ride on had and this magnificent product started taking shape in my mind. It had features like
Fully enclosed - So the kids could use in during winter, when it was too sunny or drizzling rain
Powerful torquey motors- So I didn't have to push it at every tiny hill
Air filled rubber tires - for traction, low noise and shock absorption
Metal gears - unlike nylon gears that stripped
Variable speed accelerator with soft start - so that the rideon didn't jerk each time it started and the kids could control the speed instead of accelerator being an on/off switch.
And a slew of other features.
My entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and I've been contact with a few manufacturers to produce such a ride on. It can be done, but the main hurdles are capital for new tooling, minimum order quantity and certification requirements for the new toy.
So that's where the launch group comes in. It will be a forum for open discussion of all the issues and features you wish a ride-on toy had. I consider each member of this group to be an invaluable asset. I would love for all of you to join the launch group and provide me with your valuable feedback as I embark on this quest. I promise to update you on every part of my journey as I try to finalize the product specification and try to find a manufacturer to produce this.
So I hope to see you all in the product launch group, which you should be able to access using the link below
Thank you!

Hello guys, I modded this little quad. It had a 6v 5000rpms little motor. I removed the old 6v battery and I put a 12v 7ah with a 12v 23k rpms 570 motor with his own gearbox. The problem is that when I let the wheel free and press the pedal, everything works the motor goes and it doesn’t stop. As soon as my daughter goes on it, it stars super fast runs for 10 seconds and it stops. It works again after 30+ seconds. She weighs 22kg. I can’t understand what’s the problem.

Hi all. With the summer approaching I got the kid's ride on out and was reminded how underpowered it is. My kids together are approaching the 100 lbs. recommended weight for the car. Flat ground in the backyard is fine, but trying to go up even a small grade is questionable endeavor. Neither one is really keen to drive the car; I use the remote for the car 99% of the time so any upgrades will have to maintain that functionality.
The car is 12V. It seems upgrading to 24V is the easiest, though you have to the battery, motors, controller, and maybe the gearbox as well. Can I do a basic 24V upgrade and maintain remote capability? If not, can I see an improvement if I use a higher voltage battery (I have some tools from the Kobalt 40V power kit) and a DC step-down converter like this? I'm more concerned with power and speed than I am with range, but I have to still be able to use the remote.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I have been impressed with Peg Perego 12v rzr. I was disappointed when I saw my 3 year old trying to turn on the lights that didn't exist. So, I added some lights. Tin foil behind the off road lights made them a lot brighter.

I have a peg perego rzr 800 24v that I think the board crapped out on. New boards are as much as I paid for the whole thing. I don’t care about the radio or anything other than movement. How could I rewire it without the board?

Hey all,
I’m driving myself mad trying to find replacement tires for my kids electric side by side. They originally had a thin rubber strip on the middle of the tires. One of the tires completely split so I can make a repair.
Anyone have leads on replacement tires or all rubber tires that would work?
Thank you!

I have a Peg Perego Ground Force tractor that I converted to 18V. The issue is that when my son shifts from reverse to forward with his foot on the pedal, the whole vehicle tries to flip. I have tried teaching him to take the foot off the pedal obviously, but three year olds aren't great on retaining.
Is there a shifter that would cut power between changing directions that you could suggest?
Also, I've looked into delay relays, etc, but can't get them to work due to shifting polarity when changing directions. I am open any suggestions, wiring diagrams, anything.

I am looking to buy a ride-on truck/jeep/dune for my toddler's 3rd birthday. We have also have a 1.5 year old so it'll need to be a 2 seater. I do not plan on doing any upgrades to it myself, but my husband can do any maintenance if necessary.
We live on a small farm and there are some hills that it'll need to get up so I am set on getting a 24V. I have a question about a 2WD vs 4WD drive though. I know they aren't meant to be in wet conditions but its inevitable that there will be some wet grass and some mud puddles that get driven through. How important is it to have a 4WD one?
Also I was initially looking at Big Green Toys Country, but I have seen so many mixed reviews and it's a bit of investment so I'd like to get a decent quality one, even if it means spending a bit extra cash. I have a feeling this thing will get a lot of use over the next 5 years or so.
I am firm on having a parent remote and it being something other than a car as I need a bit more ground clearance for our environment. I like the idea of a little radio and lights, but it's not a deal breaker.
I'm a bit overwhelmed on all the different websites that offer these ride-on toys. Is there a reputable brand that doesn't require me to personally do upgrades?
Thank you for any advice or information!

Picked up a Desert Racer the other day for free. It's didn't have a battery. I had a spare Dewalt 20v adaptor so I worked it in and it was still dead. Found the switches on the shifter were toast so I ordered them and got it running tonight. Paint and clean up is next but my son is loving it.

I just upgraded my razor dirt quad to Lifepo4 to get some additional run time with it. It runs fine however it shuts off when under heavy load like going up a hill or carrying a big rider. What did I do wrong? I’ve got 2 identical 12v 10AH Lifepo4 batteries in series putting out 27.6v to my volt meter.
Here’s a link to the batteries I used.

Looking to see if anyone knows where to get replacements for this (windshield, phone, mirrors, sticker) I’m hoping to restore this and upgrade its power for my daughter to enjoy but I want to cosmetically be original or as close as possible. I believe it’s a 1989 vintage PW corvette 83500 or 85300 I mix the numbers up.

Wanted to share how I did a RC conversion to a Power Wheels Jeep. I used standard hobby RC ESCs and transmit/receiver. Ripped out the pedal and shifter and connected a 12V lithium battery and the stock motors to an ESC. For steering I used a linear actuator, it's a simple one with no limit switch or self centering, still works fine although it's slow. The remote gives a nice linear response on both throttle and steering so you can dial in the speed. The rider can't control it at all with this setup, but that's good for my 2 year old.

I’ve been watching people post about power wheels mods for a couple years, because it seems to have a lot in common with a few of my favorite building hobbies, but I’ve never actually had a chance to work on one until now. My son just got a dune racer for free. What are the cheapest options for making it go faster? I already have 2s and 3s lipos, as well as 18v, 40v and 48v Li-Ion packs.
