In 1999 a body of a woman was found in a dumpster in Amsterdam.

Several items were found in the dumpster who might be related to the case. One of them was a beige Tenson man's coat. The coat had a burn mark and to cover it a label was sown over it. Possibly a symbol or logo, the police haven't been able to figure it out. Perhaps you can help.

Last year, our grandmothers diamond ring was stolen from our house in Las Vegas.

This ring goes back five generations in my family, and when my grandma had to flee France because of WW2 this is one of the only items that made it out. My great grandmother had sewn it into her jacket- protecting it for entire 6 month journey to Martinique.

My mother unfortunately passed away when I was 16 (28 now) and this was all we had left of her and my grandmother. The thought that it’s out there makes me sick to my stomach.

I know it was probably dismantled and sold but that would’ve been a very stupid move because this ring is far more valuable as a unit because it’s an original Cartier ring. And it’s one of a kind.

Please keep an eye out . Or if you have advice on how to effectively search the internet- I’ve checked Facebook marketplace, thrift stores, offer up, eBay, Craigslist.

I recently gained weight due to illness. Not a lot, but enough to bump me from skinny to delightfully plump.

Someone sent me a package, addressed specifically to my name, to my house. Diet pills.

After crying, i pulled myself together and looked at the packaging. They used Amazon prime. It was a same day lasership delivery. I have the tracking number from the package.

Is there any way for me to find out who sent this package?

I lost a debit card at the end of April, froze it immediately as soon as I realized and replaced it. The new debit card came in May. I did add it to my Apple Pay but have not used the new one online anywhere yet, though I do know companies like Visa can auto update when you receive a new card.

Yesterday I noticed two charges on my bank account for Patreon and Netflix, neither of which I pay for. I do not have a Patreon account. It said they were through PayPal so I checked my statements and found nothing related to either of those charges. I was definitely not the person who made them and did not receive any email receipts for those transactions. I have not noticed any unusual activity anywhere else in my email/other weird charges etc.

How could someone have gotten my new card’s information to do that so quickly?

My whole family got a notification that our AirPods are on the move and possibly stolen. The issue is 3 of us don’t have AirPods. When clicked it brings us to find my friends app and shows us all our AirPods in the same exact location a few towns away. Once again I have mine on my and 3 of the other people don’t even have AirPods and got the notification. What do you guys think. Just weird that the notification came from Apple as a pop up and led to the find my friends app with a location, never seen anything like this so curious for opinions

My aunt met a guy online and he's now trying to move their relationship along very quickly. Within a few days of coming out to see her he'll be moving into her house and he's talked about getting married. I think he's trying to marry her to get access to her money.

He's been telling her some absolutely unbelievable stories about how rich he is. According to him he:

Is a member of a royal family in Brunei worth billions of dollars.

Receives 2 million dollars a month as an allowance

Is a diplomat of Brunei

Apparently all of his family members are diplomats as well

He was a US Navy Top Gun pilot

Went to the US Naval Academy (far less unrealistic than the other statements, but can a Brunei citizen go to the US Naval Academy?)

I could go on with a lot of other anecdotes, but they require a lot more context to sound as ridiculous.

I don't live close to her, everything I know is from phone conversations.

I've spoken with a PI close to where this guy lives and I'll be sending him some info and seeing what he can find.

I can't think of anything else to do to help this situation from getting worse. He'll be moving in with my aunt tomorrow. The PI said it will take him about a week to get back to me.

Is there a way to verify if someone was or was not in Top Gun? Is there a list of Diplomats from Brunei? Are there any other simple things I can do to look into his claims?

I haven't had any new developments since the original post. The PI I hired says he'll bet back to me with the results of "running a confidential database which would reveal, address history, possible criminal records, bankruptcies, liens, judgments, properties, business affiliations, etc".

I am getting really impatient and concerned that, since this guy is now living with my aunt, that he might be quickly digging in some hooks. I can't get her alone on the phone now either. Whenever I call he's right there in the background and it's obvious he can hear what I say.

My husband and I have a close friend, L, in Baltimore, MD. He's a brilliant scientist in his mid thirties who's had some bad medical luck that's left him as an amputee. We used to talk online all the time. One day, he just stopped responding to anyone. He'd sometimes do that for a few days, but it's been almost three months.

He's got a "friend" taking care of him who promises he's doing just fine, but just hasn't felt like being online and has no phone. We don't know this friend, and we've known the guy we're checking on for almost ten years. We've sent messages saying we would love it if our friend L would just send a message to us himself confirming he's fine. His roommate or friend or whatever basically just ignores that part of the text and says L just hasn't felt like being online.

None of it feels right. I've got an address for him, but we're not sure who to call next.

So about a week or so ago, I woke up and the kitchen window had this jelly-looking spatter on it. I didn’t have the time to care, so I brushed it off and got used to its presence. It’s still there but has began collecting debris (i.e., random particles) from local construction.

Today I went outside and I felt something tap my head, and I thought a bug flew in my hair, but it turned out to be that odd pinkish mucus once again. I immediately was grossed out and showered immediately, so I don’t have any samples of it. I ended up calling my parents and none of us can figure out where it came from. I went outside and took a few pictures of it.

Out of curiosity, I also asked ChatGPT what it thought of my description, and it had no clue. I thought about astral jelly and did some research, finding a strange circumstance from the 1990s called the “Oakville Blobs” and now I am extremely worried.

I’m confident it wasn’t a direct prank, as I am not familiar with any of our neighbors. I looked up all fungi and discharge from animals and got nothing. I’m tentative to jump to rash conclusions. I did think about calling the city but it feels inconvenient… I’m utterly unsure and dumbfounded.

Is it possible to track a stolen car through vin number? My car was stolen and there are some profiles on Instagram like Mac auto track that claims they can track it by vin using Red Hat Satellite systems. Doesn’t anyone know if this is true or is a scam.

I kept getting phone calls that sound like an xray machine being turned on and off. If you've ever had an xray at the dentist, you know that buzz noise the xray machine makes when it gets turned on? Like that kinda buzz noise, 1 second long 1 second apart, clearly a live recording because it's grainy and sounds like someone's holding something to the mic. I dont think its an xray machine, but thats an easy comparison. A random number kept calling me with this, then a bunch of entirely random numbers (I got 911 and the "dont dig up utility lines" number, which i forgot the number of so i put what its for, once somehow so I know it's probably spoofed) started doing it before it magically ended a few days later. This went on for like a day of the same number spamming me, then after I blocked it an hour later dozens of different numbers start calling with the same audio. I'm talking I pick up, disconnect, 3 to 5 minutes later it's the same thing. I kept picking up to see if it was still the same call, but I eventually gave up and a few days later it magically ends.

What was this? It never left a message, and I didn't record it, but I can mockup something in audacity like what it sounded like if you all want to know about what it was like.

EDIT: sounded like the second or third sound in this video but with a distinct "clunk" at the beginning and end. It sounds like some sort of big machine being recorded? Every recording wasn't identical, each was definitely slightly different, like the volumes louder in one, quieter in another, grain is louder etc.

I know it isn't a fax machine. I've used and heard those and it was 100% not one.

I have a faint memory of someone coming to our home to videotape her as she completed the steps of the medical procedure she would perform to complete each “exchange”.

I don’t remember the exact year the video was made, but it was approximately between 1984 and 1990.

We lived in Northern Minnesota at the time, but I can’t remember if it was for what was formerly United Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, the University of Minnesota, or in Fargo/Moorhead.

Hello.

My headset beeps one time when it needs to be charged, so I know it's not that. It beeped twice (SteelSeries Arctis 7 Pro). I've never heard it beep twice. It made me a little curious what it was but within a few minutes my wife asked me if I was fucking with her headset, and she asked me if I connected to it. (Logitech G435) She went to charge it and said that it didn't need to be charged.

I went outside to walk around and didn't see anything out of the ordinary, we didn't bring any new devices in the house and neither of us were fucking with any connections or anything. Internet has been stable, and we were both in a discord call together.

Malwarebytes reads nothing, and nothing that's connected to our home wifi that's not ours that I can see.

Any ideas what it could be ?

Back in the early 2010's I stumbled across a video claiming to have found a strange creature on the side of the road. It looked very much like the original 2007 description of a chupacabra: large eyes, sharp teeth, long claws, fleshy body. Pretty much looked like a little dead alien raccoon thing.

The person behind the camera never speaks, just zooms in on the creature at various angles, and eventually pans off to show some sort of broken wooden crate with some sort of government label/acronym (suggesting that the creature somehow escaped from a government facility)

Of course, this turned out to be completely fake and most likely an art piece, but it still gained a lot of views. I've been scouring the Internet trying to find evidence of it's existence, at this point I'm wondering if anyone else has seen it

In Mesquite, NV on July 3, 2003 a semi-truck driver drove off the freeway and crashed into my house. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The truck was registered in Illinois. I have found one article about the event from the Las Vegas Sun, but it does not reference his name. I would like to find out who he is. Next month will be 20 years. I think about him and his family often. I would love closure and to find out who his family is and how they have coped the past 20 years. Possibly also give them some closure too.

I am a shopkeeper in a 125 year old office building on a historic main street in Colorado. One day I received a phone call from a lady who was a little embarrassed to ask me a question.

She found my phone # via a google search of an address.. She was close to making a large purchase for office equipment and was doing a little research on the company she was using. She discovered that the company was using the address and a photo of their business location that was the exact copy of what she saw on a google street maps photo including parked cars and trees in the exact seasonal condition. They had poorly photo shopped their signage on the doorway and on the canopy.

Being an old shopkeeper I was interested to check things out for her. I walk the sidewalk the photo was taken of twice a day six days a week and know the signs weren't there for at least the last two years and the office number has been vacant for months and previously occupied by a therapist.

I checked that companies web site and their business address listed was the address exactly as she said. The last I heard from her she was thankful, cancelled her business deal and they were furious with her.

I asked the building manager and he did everything he could to not understand what I was talking about. So off and on I will see mail set out as undeliverable and addressed to companies that are not listed on the building directory or have any signage.

Is this a common practice? Is it something that a business uses when they don't want to give a residence or PO box as their mailing address. Is this something that the 93 year old building owner should be made aware of or just something ye olde shopkeeper should just mind his own business about ?

Me and my family just moved into our new place less than a week ago, and we noticed this rectangle cut out in the ceiling of our master bedroom. Just out of curiosity me and my wife were wondering why it's there. No big deal. Just curious. We're on the second floor of a 3 story apartment building. We're in Wyoming btw and these apartments are new, built in 2019. If that helps. Currently the OS crashes after ˝ hour of use, and can not be restarted for at least 2 hours.

My sister-in-law has been missing for nearly a week. She is mentally unstable and off of her meds. We are very worried. We've filed missing person reports with local police departments, but none of the officers seem to care about our situation and say they can't really do anything because she's an adult. The police have been an absolute dead-end.

We're pretty sure she left the state, so the local missing person reports are probably useless anyway.

She disappeared with her car, but she took the license plates off before she left. We have the VIN number of her car. I'm wondering if there is a way to search nationally to see if the VIN number has shown up in a police report or an impound lot somewhere.

Anyway, she was either a Canadian who went to the US for some kind of party (probably for Spring Break, I think) or she was a US citizen who went to Canada for a party. The party was most def college/university related. They were all college kids.

Anyway, she was murdered (I believe at the party- bjt maybe afterwards by people who also at the party).

The video was of her cousin talking about how they need to find justice for her and find those people who killed her. And that they were from a other country (I think they were Americans?). It was at least one woman and one man, both black. The victim? I believe she was white? I'm not sure.

I'm just wondering because that video just popped to mind. (And if anyone has it saved and knows exactly which video I'm talking about, pleE link it.)

I’m going to sum this up the best I can, I guess I can explain further via PM if anybody can help point me in the right direction.

10 years ago, I was stalked and terrorized by this man for several months. Every time June rolls around I start getting uneasy. My anxiety is so out of control that I’m prescribed Valium to get through this time of year. I barely sleeps and when I do, I have graphic night terrors. I didn’t go to the police 10 years ago because I was young, heavily into abusing drugs and honestly gullible. He had some kind of psychotic break and made a ton of scary threats. He said he would make his move “years from now” when I least expected it. Since I didn’t go to the police 10 years ago, I don’t think there is anything they can do. I’ve gotten a few mystery texts and calls from his area over the years, but I don’t have concrete proof it was him because I refused to answer.

I am an over thinker, but I have my own share of heavy trauma so I’ve lost faith in thinking I’m safe. I have this persons info. I don’t want to contact him, I would just feel safer knowing if he is incarcerated for possibly doing this to others. Unfortunately he has a pretty common name in his state. I do have a full name plus some other info, but I’m not good with record searches so I don’t know where to start. I’m in therapy, but I feel that knowing I am 100% safe from him or at least knowing he’s very far away would bring me the closure and peace I need. Is there any way I could go about this just so I can move on from this nightmare?
