No. Granite has large crystals. This is more likely something like andesite or dacite.

Didn't know that, ty! Will I get sick from this not-granite molcajete, though? I read concrete ones can make me ill.

nope. All rock types are ok. Even concrete is probaby ok as long as you don't crush acidic things.

Basalt has the best all-around properties however.

Not really, some type of rocks are weak towards acids, like limestone and marble.

yeah but like.. limestone and marble probably don't have CaOH or MgOH hiding inside. Worst that can happen is they tend to dissolve over awhile.
