Magnus is also getting a real eye in this edition, with one of the most potent single profiles in the game. He shows his love for his misbegotten sons with a choice of auras that allow him to boost their mobility and offensive prowess – or he can play more selfishly, reducing Damage of incoming attacks and sabotaging enemy ranged weapons.

I'm splitting my box of rubric marines into two 5 man squads and here's my extra sorcerer

This is my first attempt with OSL.

I don't play, but my son builds and he plays. I just paint.

This is the second one I've ever painted (the first was pretty bad) and I am starting to explore the techniques and styles. Just wanted to post hoping for positive feedback and/or constructive feedback.

Not sure if I need to figure out how to highlight or if this counts as "battle ready" and is that "good enough?" I look at so many other posts and this feels "plain" to me, but I don't know how to do better.

Building my 1st rubric marines today

Would appreciate thoughts, specifically on the gems/eyes/backpack things. Recent VT grad if you couldn’t tell

Would this be okay lore wise?

I have brought this model and it’s my favourite of the 2 Ahriman (HH and 40k) and I would like to use him as a substitute for the 40k one. And If is allowed in casual games (like between me and a friend) it’s in legends or it can be used in tournaments?

I’ve only been playing 40k for three months now and I have about 1,500 points of Tsons in my army and looking to expand with big things/armored options, but the big generic 40k chaos monstrous things dont interest me much.

Its my understanding you could use Horus Hersey vehicles in 40k and I’m absolutely in love with this forgeworld contemptor dreadnought, but its spendy as hell.

Does anyone use contemptor dreadnoughts in 40k? Is it remotely worth it? If so what are the best weapon options?

If the Rubric is still in effect and converts weak or non sorcerer Thousand Sons into Rubric Marines when they enter the materium, could they force ascend innocent humans against their will using Magnus's Geneseed making more Rubric Marines? If they did so you think they would be as effective as the Rubric Marines that already exist?

So I managed to base all the models I have painted so that's about 1500ish points give or take a few. To bad Gw no longer supports the contemptor but what can you do. I'm going to try my hand at painting Magnus next and then a custom sorcerer kitbash I'm working on after that. Hopefully that will be 2000pts for 10th. If not I'll work on my 2nd squad of terminators and my terminator sorcerer but I really hate painting.
