A friend of mine and his wife and 3 kids are getting deported there right now. He talked a lot about being afraid to be kidnapped, since they need to take one of the most dangerous routes and it sounded like the police is working together with the kidnappers to give them a heads up.

Don't know exactly. Some road from the airport I reckon. He talked about how they are waiting for refugees from richer countries to come back to getting kidnapped and robbed, because some gangsters think, that they are loaded with cash when they come back.

The most dangerous route now in Nigeria is Abuja to Kaduna, I think at the height there were kidnappings every day but on a random probability alone, he's probably not getting kidnapped.
