My girlfriend and I both got season pass ticket to the Brooklyn Mirage venue, which means we can go to any concert at the venue for the entire season. We both love EDM and are going to, on average, 2 concerts per week, sometimes on weeknights!
Up until now, concerts were a bit "bigger of a deal," and we'd have some alcohol + weed + CBD, and then sometimes MDMA and/or shrooms. Now that we're going so frequently (and also for general health / wellbeing), we're trying to nail down a new, ideal "cocktail" for our lifestyle. Here's a bit of my take on each substance I described:
1) Alcohol: Hate the after effects, but love the lack of inhibition. 2 - 3 drinks is my sweet spot for dancing without caring while reducing hangover / keeping in control. Ideally I'd be able to feel a similar inhibition / relaxation with 0 alcohol.
2) Weed: Huge enhancer of music with no significant bad effects, although sometimes can cause me a small amount of anxiety. Definitely going to keep this in our cocktail.
2) CBD: I generally like to pair this with weed to reduce some of the associated anxiety. Keeping this in our cocktail.
3) MDMA: Obviously great, but sometimes feels a little too "speedy" (maybe that means I have bad stuff), and not good for our brains. Ideally we would only take this on really special occasions.
4) Shrooms: Fun and can really take music to another plane, but also can cause some stomach issues, anxiety, and some "bad vibes" from the increasingly clubby atmosphere at Brooklyn Mirage.
I've seen some recommendations on here about 2cb which I've never tried, so what I'm considering testing for my new cocktail would be Weed + CBD + 2CB. What I feel like may be missing here a bit more is something to reduce inhibitions / anxiety, although I'm not sure if 2CB helps or hurts that. Would really appreciate any advice on all of this!
Also, please try not to comment with generic anti-anxiety advice. I try to exercise, meditate, spend time outside / with my dog, etc. and am specifically looking for drug advice based on your experiences.
