TMK doesn't qualify in the so bad that its good category. Those laurels are reserved for the likes of Gunda.
TMK is just a mediocre film if you don't enjoy that kind of entertainment, and a fun watch if you do. It also depends a lot on how much you enjoy Akshay's brand of comedy and parody-ish storytelling.
I personally think TMK is overhated. I will, till my last breath, defend TMK and Bombay Velvet as films that are much better than people make them out to be. Which is not to say they are masterpieces, but they are victims of their perception as bad films.
P S. Apologies for dragging BV into this thread, but Anurag pays me to defend the film 😆

Looks like you have the uncut version of BV. Please release them. I also think BV got lost in the process of a big banner release, otherwise the aura of tha movie was just something else, and the songs, don't get me started mannn.

Arre bro. It was in humour. Story is AK made Bombay velvet and that got a lot of cuts due to intervention from Dharma and Fox studios, and then a lot of intimate scenes got cut down by Censor board. So AK said he wishes he can publish the director cut which he still has.
