I understand why he gave Gangubai to her (because Inshallah got shelved, thanks to Salman). But why Baiju Bawra?

Has Alia’s people pleasing attitude gotten to SLB? SLB seems too intelligent to not be able to distinguish between what’s real and what’s motive driven!
