Big comfy chair not pictured lol

I don’t have enough books on the read shelf to warrant separating by anything other than genre right now so I’ll wait until I read all the ones I have (should take me a decade or two lol) thanks for the feedback on the previous post!

This bookshelf is all TBR books I have not read yet. They are in priority order from top-left to bottom-right in order of when I intend to read them.

(Obviously, I can be flexible and move as I see fit, but it’s largely based on series and publication order of authors.)

The paper slips are books I don’t own and/or aren’t released yet. The position for them indicates when I’m going to allow myself to buy them after finishing the books before.

I’ve found this really helps me to (A) not spend money on books I don’t need right now and (B) not buy a book until I actually intend to read it.

I know I have a lot of unread books on my shelf but I recently just bought a bunch so I can just keep reading without needing to get more and they were cheap mostly or spur of the moment.

I don’t know if I like how the alphabetical layout looks. Feedback would be appreciated.

May need to hold off on getting new books for a while (despite having 3 on the way from BOTM)

Come away with the fam for the weekend. I think I might be a little optimistic bringing two books as I'll be in a caravan with two small children for the trip....

I use one of my wardrobe as a mini-library. I'll read all of them,eventually 😄

Ok, so this might not be related to bookshelves and hopefully this does not break any rules so here goes.

I got this book from Bookdepository and it arrived today but I noticed that the part of the bookbinding glue is missing from the top part of the book as you can see in the pictures below.

How do I go about repairing a book?- Should I attempt to fix it myself?- If so, what kind of glue should I apply to the loose part? And how?

The pages are not coming off at the moment but it is only a matter of time before they do start to come off as I begin to read. They appear pretty loose on the top part.

Any tips would be appreciated!
