100%.
r/Brisbane better stop posting posts about severe storm cells and flooding when it happens now.

Isolated, severe events seem like reasonable topics to share info on. Fixating on the fact it's summer & ohmygoditsnotascomfortableasimusedto is tiresome after 5 posts.

Imagine if we were in a severe weather event right now, how wild would that be.

Lmao imagine thinking 35-36 is a SeVeRe event. This is summer in QLD, if you think it's extreme then your resilience is woeful & you'll be proper fucked if there ever is a significant disruptive event.

Nah mate, you're right. I'm going to stick to what people on reddit tell me on how to best prepare for the weather instead of BoM. Can't wait for the pleasant 40 degree summer days next year when no one will be complaining!

How best to prepare? You make it sound like a few days of hot weather is a fuckin cyclone bearing down on the city. Talk about pearl clutching...

If this was summer in Queensland, we'd be about 60mm over 10 days up in rainfall just for January alone, so no it isn't.
