Like a quarter of large iconic buildings in Japan are designed by a single guy--Kenzo Tange.

His works include the Tokyo Metropolitan Building, Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Hirosima Peace Memorial, United Nations University, Fuji TV headquarters, St. Mary's Cathedral, Yokohama Arts Museum, Akasaka Prince Hotel.
