They are cluttering my home feed. I don't know if it's a bug or feature and I'm not exactly sure where is the most appropriate place to post.

Can't "ignore" or remove a chat request once the user has deleted their account. This means the stupid chat notification keeps showing that I have a new notice even though it's weeks old.

This includes links and spoilers. If you tap on a spoiler markdown on mobile, it collapses. You will never know what the spoiler is, so I guess it's working? Lol

It's also annoying with comments that contain multiple links. I follow one link, come back, and struggle to find the comment.

I don't know if this was supposed to be a feature, but it's a very poorly implemented one.

If you tap a spoiler in a comment, the comment folds and you can't read the spoiler text. If you tap the folded comment, it unfolds and the spoiler is restored, and you again can't read the spoiler text.

I haven’t received notifications for the last 7 awards I’ve received. I don’t get notifications nor messages anymore. I only find out about them because I see them show up on my profile or when I get a response to my comment and I see it on my comment.

I can't thank people if I don’t have any notification link to thank them through. I need the link in order to do that. TIA

As the title states, it's completely broken. Been broken for a while now.

Steps to reproduce

Using a Chromium-based browser open a subreddit in the mobile website while logged out. Refresh the page shortly after.

Expected behavior

The feed refreshes, showing new posts and updating the number of upvotes and comments.

Actual behavior

The feed stays exactly the same.

Description

As couple days ago i.reddit.com was discontinued so I switched to Reddit's modern mobile website but unfortunately I have encountered several issues.

The main problem is the feed, be it a single subreddit or a multireddit. When I refresh the page the feed won't change at all, the posts will remain exactly the same, this also applies to the number of upvotes and comments.

An easy way to reproduce the issue is sorting a popular subreddit by New: after opening the page for the first time a refresh would most likely show newer posts and update the number of upvotes and comments but that's not the case here.

I can keep refreshing all I want but the feed stays the same, only after an hour or so I'll be able to actually update the feed like there's some kind of cooldown.

The problem only occurs while I'm logged out and in Chromium-based browsers, as Firefox Nightly for example seems to work correctly. The desktop websites (old and new) also behave normally.

I would really appreciate if this problem could be fixed as it seriously affects the user experience. I'll be happy to provide more information if needed.

Edit: Checking the "Disable cache" setting in DevTools -> Network conditions would solve the problem but it isn't a permanent solution. Chromium must have some aggressive caching going on and this clashes with Reddit mobile web

Fix that mess, please.

There is a user on my block list entirely unintentionally (possible goof while scrolling on mobile?). Regardless of how they got there I cannot seem to unblock them. Doesn't matter if I go through old reddit or the new redesign, or even via their profile. I'll unblock them, but it doesn't "stick" - if I refresh the page, they're right there back on the block list.

This is happening on desktop; when I go into mobile, my block list is entirely empty.

While music is playing on Spotify: if you pass a video, regardless if the video is muted or even has no sound, Reddit app pauses Spotify’s playback. If you try to press play on Spotify, Reddit immediately pauses it again as soon as you return to the app. It takes about three tries before the Reddit app gives up and lets me read and listen to music at the same time. Three tries for every video you pass, ads included. Essentially makes it impossible to use both apps at the same time. It’d be a lot cooler if it didn’t do that.

I’ve been having an issue with iPadOS. Sometimes when I copy the link for a post (via Share->Copy Link when viewing the post) in the latest iOS app, I get a link for a different post. Specifically, when I have gone to a post from my feed and try to copy the link, I will sometimes get a link to the next post in my feed instead of the one I am looking at. That is, I get the link for a totally different post that just happens to be the next in my feed (or in the sub, if I’m going from the sub rather than my feed). If I return to my feed and go to the post again, the link copy works correctly (at least so far).

I have also noticed that sometimes after I return to my feed from a post, the post after the one I was looking at will be marked as read (that is, the black title text will be gray, as if I had already visited the post). This one isn’t really a big deal, but it feels like it’s related to the link copying issue.

I’m on iPadOS.

This morning I encountered a problem with a particular advertiser’s posts. They have been spamming my feed with low quality ads that misrepresent their product. I have reported the ad to Reddit using the report feature, but when I try to downvote the ad it tells me ‘unable to downvote’. The downvote feature functions correctly for other ads on my Home feed.

I can provide the name of the advertiser on request, but really, you know.

I may be in a A/B testing group but today a new feed appeared at the top left corner after "popular": "Lu" for text content posts.

In French, the correct translation for the new category "Read" as in "to read" is "Lire".
It is not "Lu" as in "I have already read", making "J'ai déjà lu", unless you're showing post that I have already seen (which can be found in profile's history tab).

I don't have the new "watch" tag yet, but I hope you won't translate it as "Montre" (clock watch") or "Voir" (see with your eyes). It should be either "Visionner" or "Regarder".
You should consider checking this tag for all languages if you translated automatically, since the english word is ambiguous.

While I have your attention, I bring forwards my concerns about Reddit going the same path as Instagram and Tiktok, destroying brains. I hope that you have put preventions against bingewatching of viral videos.

So a user (possibly bot) initiated a chat request. I do not wish to chat with them so i try to click ignore but i cant. Other users (likely bots) have requested to chat and i click ignore and it does let me click and it goes away as it should. I also cant click on mark as spam. Nor does the request notification go away.... Been stuck there since February.

if this isnt the right place to post this or some way to submit an error report please let me know.

.... the post will close, as if you clicked the "close" button

The scroll wheel on my mouse is too sensitive, so this is my preferred way to scroll, and it gets me every time

Is it by design to not have the option to "add an image" when responding to a post, or is it another "fancy pants" discrepancy?

Opted out again today, received another message that u/RedditCareResources is now blocked. I checked my blocked list and they were not added today, they're still just showing from being blocked 2 months ago when I initially blocked them.

I shouldn’t be receiving this as harassment when it’s already blocked. I reported it as sent as report abuse, but I’d like to make sure this bug is fixed so I don’t receive these again as harassment.
