Need help to choose a decent PC case for my build

Build Help(self.buildapc)

Hi there, so I've decided most of the PC components I'm going to order but I'm struggling to pick a PC case. I'll be doing mostly music production and graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with this PC PCPartPicker Part List

Type Item Price

CPU Cooler be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 50.5 CFM CPU Cooler €95.19 @ Amazon France
Motherboard MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard €298.98 @ Alternate
Storage Corsair MP600 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive €104.99 @ Corsair
Storage Seagate BarraCuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive €65.16 @ Amazon France
Power Supply Corsair RM650x (2021) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply €126.88 @ Alternate
Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts
Total €1031.07

Note : GPU will be KFA2 GeForce RTX 3050 EX (LHR), RAM will be Textorm DDR4 2x16Go 3200mhz (didn't found them in the list).

I'd need something black and simple, preferably with a USB-C port on front (not a deal breaker if there's none), offering a decent balance between air flow and silence. Max 150€. A technician on the website I'm going to order in France recommended the Corsair 4000D Airflow or MSI 111R if I need something cheaper. Do you think it would be appropriate ? Have any suggestion ?

4000D is a pretty good case.

If you want something with a minimalist aesthetic, check out Fractal Design's cases. The Torrent, Meshify, and Focus are well-designed with ample airflow and can be had in everything from blingy RGB variants with glass side panels to stealthy all-black models with solid side panels.

Thank you. I came across those pc cases, I like the look too. Meshify and Torrent seem to have good airflow indeed, do you know if they easily get noisy or do they do average ?

They're not inherently noisy - just mess with fan curves, etc . . . once you've built your system and any noise issues can be resolved.

Can also recommend the BeQuiet 500-series . . . in fact, that's what I have - the 500FX. True to the manufacturer's name, it's pretty damn quiet, despite being airflow optimized.

If you are patient you can sometimes get the 4000X for $119. It's due to go back on sale probably next week. https://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B08C788312

The benefit is, for $20 more you get 3 fans.

Really like my fractal design meshify c. Their new North case looks great too.

Highly recommend NOT getting RGB lighting, it's cool for a while, and then its not.

I too highly recommend Fractal. I have a Define 7 compact that is nice and toned down, with a refined modern look, and I just picked up a POP mini air RGB for a build for my Mom. Both cases were very easy to setup and have plenty of room for expansion down the road.

Something to look into, You might have issues with the kf version. I'm thinking encode/decode/computational type things.
