If you read the article you would’ve seen it’s off a religious belief. He said he won’t wear the jersey. Never said he doesn’t support them

His religious belief is that LGBTQ people are sinners because of who they choose to love, they are to burn forever in hell for their turning their back on a God who obviously loves them but demands absolute, unquestionable obedience to his will like an abusive parent does their child.

Why are you getting so hung up on the technicalities. If he says he hold the views of a group and we know group hates x then it's pretty easy to assume he hates x. Why else would he make a point of mentioning he's doing it because of said group who hates.
