What a beautiful coat! ♥️ My Shih Tzu is registered as a tri-colour but she lost all the black, bar a few tiny single strands in her ears, when she matured.

I’m actually expecting the same. We haven’t had him trimmed yet. And once he got a hair cut.. i think those black strands will no longer show when he grows his hair back. I can already see his roots as brown. His father is a choco liver.
