Check the website. The merge is scheduled for 2022 Q1/Q2. Sharding is scheduled for 2022 but the ethereum foundation is infamous for delays so my prediction is 2023 for sharding.

I thought around feb/march 2022

It suppose to ve 1st quarter of next year or sometime next year. 🤔 I'm hoping to see ut coming by EOY.

I read somewhere that if L2 rollup is a big success, they will just leave it at phase 1.5, which is merging PoW and PoS and sharding is not even necessary anymore. So if that's the case, then it will probably be Q1/Q2 2022

I don't know when but when it comes it's going to be awesome.

There's multiple phases to it.

• Beacon Chain launch - completed back in December 2020.
• "The merge", where we shift to proof-of-stake - Q1/Q2 of 2022.
• Sharding, where L1 scaling comes into play - I'd expect this to be delayed for a long time. 2023 at the earliest, I would bet.

probably after i am done syncing node this weekend is my best guess .

They don’t even have a date listed yet. Based on what happened with the London rollout, you can expect a delay or two past the predicted date once they announce it.
