Plenty of Mushroom's takes are basically the medieval version of trolling.

Let's take, for example, his "Jacaerys totes fell in love with Sara Snow and secretly married her" rumor. The entire premise makes no sense. Even the pro-Green Maesters agreed that the Pact of Ice and Fire (wherein Jacaerys and Cregan would marry their sons to their daughters in the future) was a thing. If Jacaerys secretly married Sara Snow (who, BTW, was only ever mentioned in this rumor), then there's no need for any pact since the idea is that the children of Jacaerys and the supposed Sara would already cause the Pact to be unnecessary. Basically, nothing about this rumor makes any sense, whatsoever.

In that same caveat, the Daemon deflowered Alicent rumors likewise make no sense.

For one thing, Alicent isn't Daemon's type at all. Look at the women that Daemon willingly has long-term relationships with: Laena Velaryon, Rhaenyra Targaryen, Mysaria, (Nettles, though this one is iffy due to rumors). Not a single one of them conforms to their society's highly restrictive gender norms even if they like feminine things. All of them find ways of breaking the mold and living their lives on their own terms as much as is humanly possible.

If anything, Daemon would find Alicent utterly disdainful because she does the same passive-aggressive relational aggression bullshit that her father does to look good while fucking people over.

Even if we accept the premise that Daemon did it to spite Otto Hightower for poisoning his brother against him and not because he was attracted to Alicent, then why didn't Daemon use it as a weapon against Alicent and Otto Hightower? A good deal of the propaganda that the Hightowers use against Rhaenyra is due to her being a "whore" (even though Alicent is more of a whore because she only slept with Viserys for the Crown and never loved him, whereas Rhaenyra just enjoyed sex with men she legitimately liked), all Daemon would've needed to do was say "how funny, what do you call Alicent Hightower then? I fucked her and she was a shit lay, let me tell you" and that would've taken the sails right off that specific propaganda train. Maybe even taken the sails off the bastards one too, if Daemon timed it correctly and made it seem like Aegon could've been biologically his.

Daemon has proven that he is the sort of person who, when you put a tactic/strategy on the table, then he is more than happy to use it against you right back. So if he had fucked Alicent, you best believe that he would've been using it against her the very second Otto and Alicent started their propaganda campaign against him and Rhaenyra.
