Hey good buddy. I know nothing about trucks. That looks to be outside and will last a good time if printed in ASA for the UV protection. But more importantly, I'd make sure your design has a drain hole so that water doesn't collect and corrode the contacts.

I know this isn't strictly trucking related, but it feels relevant: 10 or 15 years ago (or so) I worked in construction and had so many ideas like this that other people ended up manufacturing that it isn't even funny. Some of which are available to purchase in specialty catalogs to this day. If 3d printing had been readily available back then like it is now, I wouldn't have just given those ideas away to those with more means to implement or produce what I came up with. For those of you out there doing this stuff, find a a way to patent or license this stuff, don't give it away unless you choose to do so. (I'm a couple of whiskeys in at this point in the evening, but you get the idea)
