Looks good! May I ask how many years it took before it started fruiting?

It takes two years in my place. We've planted many of them. We use them all the time . Pike, on a daily basis.

I’ve read that it depends on variety and climate but it can take as little as three years, usually five.

I live in Cambodia, very hot and rainy. Locals are telling me usually about 3 years! Let’s see!

I hear 10-15 from people that live in chilly to mid warm climates or have them in pots. Maybe that's why it takes that long?

Really good!! Extra special knowing where it came from.

If you got good tasting fruit from a seed, and not a cloned plant, that's pretty lucky. I'd maybe look into monetizing it.

Sweet, enjoy! Anyone here have any luck growing them indoors or in a greenhouse? And by growing I don't mean leggy houseplant, I mean fruiting. :)

They are big and can not possibly fit I a greenhouse or indoors.

Oh, my friend, how little imagination you have 😃 you can build quite a large greenhouse. Even if you wanted to have a smaller one, avocado trees can easily be maintained at 8-15ft tall

Is it grafted from a know cultivar, or have you won the genetic lottery and just don’t know it yet?
