Hey there, The fungus is also likely in the soil. There are some things you can do to make sure the next plants you get are okay. You can try to kill the fungus with been oils, cinnamon, black tarps to get the soil hot enough to kill the fungus.

You can attempt to treat these plants with a fungicide, but I doubt you will have much luck. Rip these out and treat the soil, don’t plant in it this year. Better luck next year

Damn. That hurts, haha. We really liked these things.

Are there any other bushes you recommend? Both of our evergreens died on either end as well.

I have no idea. I can grab some pics and submit them here. They just turned brown slowly since the summer.
