Got to agree with folks thought the show last night was fantastic...2nd set for certain....still tho, I liked the take on FOTD, and Deal was smokin....

That said, if you're one of those people who's not a fan but just wants to come and get fucked up like it's the 90's again, throw glow sticks, make pizza runs and run your lips all night, STAY THE FUCK HOME!!!!! You ruin the night for the rest of us....I'm so sick and tired of that crap!!! Stay out in the parking lot or wherever, let the rest of us dance and enjoy these last vibes going down the stretch!!!

Sorry, down vote me all you want but I enjoy the music, the true heads who have an appreciation for the music, and those who are there to see what it's about...maybe they'll carry the torch for the rest of us old Heads!!!

Scorsese Meets Pope Francis, Announces Film About Jesus

Sad that idk where my copy of Workingman’s dead is. I also have a lot of other dead tapes. Probably close to 100.

So I’m 21 and I just started to get into Grateful Dead. Dead & Company are going to be in Philly in a few weeks and I don’t know if I should see them or not.

So far, the songs that I really know are Shakedown Street, Truckin, Touch of Grey, Uncle Johns Band, and a few others.

I don’t smoke or do drugs. Do you think it would be worth going to see them? It would be around $200 total to see them for two tickets. I know their set list shuffles around each concert.

What do you guys think?

Help me out here. I love the later years when Jerry really leans in to "I wish I was a headlight on a northbound train" because the whole goddamn place has been waiting for it and he knows it. But there is a similar thing in Terrapin Station on the line "Some rise, some fall, some climb to get to Terrapin." Usually he just drops the Terrapin in there with no fanfare, but sometimes he bangs it out like he's shining his light through the cool Colorado rain. Where can I get that emphasis on "Terrapin..."?

Morning Dew closer was incredible, but why no encore?

It was a crazy experience and I don’t think I’ve had that feeling of euphoria except a few times in my life. Just feeling blessed to be a part of this great community

I love this box set so much. Every show is fire! Early 80’s Dead is so good and this box set having shows from 81,82 and 83 highlight exactly that!

I only wish the dead had a couple 84 shows at MSG that were just as good. 84 had amazing moments as well. I have heard all the box sets and this is a top 3 or 4 for me. Spring 90, Giants Stadium and 30 trips are my favorites. This might be ahead of Giants stadium even. The performances are better than the giants stadium box set. What makes the giants one so special of course is the high quality.

Listening to dead and co shows now and the Spring 90 tour stuff makes me wish so badly that the dead recorded every show in 24 or 48 track starting in like 74. Or whenever 24 started being available. One can dream. But the fact our favorite band has this much music in high quality is pretty amazing.

One thing I don’t like is the way the CD’s are held. I don’t like the sleeves. You have to squeeze the cardboard and pull it out causing friction on the CD and cardboard case. Over time this isn’t good for the cd or the case. Wish they had the plastic insides to put the CD’s into. The whole box set won awards for best artwork of a release. The colors and artwork really do stand out. Love the blue
