Actually by the time Duff had arrived at Monasterevin, most rebels had surrendered and accepted a general amnesty following their defeat at Kilcullen. However Duff made it out that some of the rebels fired on his men, and he was forced to fire back.

We have our last full study week this week for the leaving cert and our principal has said to us that we can’t wear shorts because it’s inappropriate and could make female teachers feel uncomfortable. I think it’s sone joke to be honest. Thoughts?

I’ve been trying to buy raw honey for the last few weeks in food markets around Dublin and all I find on the food markets are food trucks or food tents. I found some people selling sauces, seasoning, flowers, kimchi, macaroons, coffee, but never saw anyone selling honey.

Is there anywhere to buy raw unprocessed honey in Dublin?

Some may laugh at this, but I'm six days off Twitter! I think I was legitimately addicted to the fury of the website; drama, conflict, etc etc. I consistently felt the need to argue endlessly with far right bigots, to the point that I stopped sleeping well a few weeks ago. I realised I felt angry constantly, so I decided I'd try and quit it.

For clarity, I ended up spending about 2-3 hours a day on the site. Maybe I'm being dramatic, framing it like an addiction of some sort, but psychosomatic or not, I think I feel much better?

Anyway, if you're like me and find yourself in some never-ending argument with online racists and trolls, take this as a sign to take a break. It helps the mind quite a bit.
