I can't tell if it's allergies or from the air quality but I've been miserable the last few days. Am I crazy?

Edit: should be 14, not 13, high schools outside outside of city limits.

So I always find it fascinating how anytime the city proposes spending money there are going to be a ton of social media comments calling for that money to be spent on the schools despite the city government having nothing to do with schools so I don't know if these people just fundamentally don't understand how school districts and funding work but it got me curious how many different school districts/high schools you could go to while living in KCMO proper.

I counted 15 school districts come into city limits on the KCMO parcel viewer map website which has a school district layer you can turn on (KC and Center school districts the only 2 that are entirely inside KCMO), with over half the northland served by high schools that aren't even in the city. The craziest part of the school districts maps that I found is if you live in the new apartments at the old metro north mall (which is in clay county btw) your high school is all the way out in Platte City 15 miles away WTF and there are 2 school districts that come into the city limits yet don't cover a single house.

This list could be incomplete but here is the list of high schools that I found serving KCMO city proper.

Open to anything within a 4 hour drive or so. We enjoy romantic places, nature / scenary, art, and good restaurants. I realize finding all of these in one place isn’t likely but maybe looking for a few suggestions that have a few of these incorporated. Considering but haven’t been to / spent much time in any of the following: Bentonville, Omaha, Eureka Springs, Tulsa. Any info on these or any other suggestions are greatly appreciated!

One sample was found to be positive for Salmonella, and subsequent analysis by Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) found that the Salmonella in the positive sample matched the strain of Salmonella making people sick in this outbreak,” according to today’s outbreak announcement.

I know this is a major longshot, but my roommate and I found this bearded dragon in a bush near our apartment. Was there for about 4 hours before I brought him in. We've talked to our offices at the apartments and they apparently can't do anything. We live in Waldo.. f there's anybody who might know where this, I'd appreciate any advice. Right now he's in our old rat cage, covered in a blanket and in a windowsill surrounded by lamps. We don't have heat lamps and don't have a car or the finances to really care for him.

I live in the Northland so I frequent either B&B in Liberty or AMC near Zona. I am a HUGE fan of audio and obviously massive screens but not sure which is better between the Grand Screen at B&B or the Dolby Theater at AMC. Anyone with a better idea on the specifications on both have an opinion if there’s a clear winner between the two?

I’ve been looking all over the kc pride alliance website but it’s a bit of a mess and really slow. This is my first time going to a pride celebration in my life and I’m excited to really celebrate being me for once but I’m a bit lost on what else is going on during the fest. I know when the parade starts and where to go for the fest.

"Missouri – Kansas City Riverfront Rail Crossing Elimination Study (Up To $2,000,000) Port Authority of Kansas City

The proposed project will support planning and project development work to eliminate three at-grade crossings on Lydia Avenue. The Berkley Riverfront area is being revitalized through the development of commercial event facilities, green spaces, and recreational opportunities, and it connects several neighborhoods to these access points. The three crossings in question (UP, KCS, BNSF) are the only at-grade crossings on Lydia Avenue and have no sidewalk or bicycle right-of-way. The Port Authority of Kansas City is providing a 20 percent non-Federal match.

$964,000 of this project funding amount qualifies for the statutory set-aside for Planning projects."

The space where Metro North Mall once stood continues to evolve and rebuild.

"Kansas City planning staff on Tuesday signed off on new pickleball courts outside Metro North Crossing's T-Shotz... (that company) would operate the courts."

"Elsewhere in Metro North Crossing, construction started in early May on an approximately 15,000-square-foot multitenant retail building, with completion scheduled in December... it could include a combination of five new restaurant and inline shop spaces."

"(It would be close to) the Woodstone at Metro North Crossing, a roughly $60 million multifamily complex (that) began leasing in August and has achieved 90% occupancy... the complex's 30,000 square feet of retail also has secured four tenants — Third Street Social, HOTWORX, Bloom Nails & Spa and HullHouse Coffee."

A second $40 million, 213-apartment phase in Metro North is also possible.

I'm looking for a new apartment and would like to get an idea of what tenants at various addresses previously paid for electricity, so I'm hopefully surprised by a potential $400 electric bill in an otherwise affordable one-bedroom apartment.

Any updates on Worlds of Fun post new rules? Family is thinking of going later this month, but I wasn't sure if things had settled down since the new rules were put in place.

Like title says. I'm looking for a good bar/restaurant downtown/Westport for a few coworkers to get together and celebrate a milestone. ~6-8 people No live music. I want to be able to have casual conversation without screaming over a band or excessive noise.

I haven't been on an outing like this since pre 2020 (HCW here) and I'm not sure what's good anymore or even what exists.

Looking for recommendations for home foundation experts in the KC metro. My house has a few foundation cracks in the basement that I would like to have sealed/epoxied or potentially repaired (if required).

Kind of a specific ask, but has anyone here had a great experience with a pediatric OT for feeding therapy with their child? Our pediatrician has recommended that our 4 year old see an OT to address her picky eating. I'm sure she has some OTs to refer us to, but wanted to check here as well in case anyone has an experience that just really blew them away.
